Adopt A Horse
SMART is in need of horse sponsorships which help offset the expense of our annual costs of the care of our therapy horses.
“Adoptions” can be made in a business name, family name, in memory or honor of - or any recognition desired. This is a great way to join us in helping to keep our wonderful herd of incredible horses happy and healthy!
Blue Ribbon Horse Adoption: $1000 / year
Blue Ribbon Sponsors will have their names placed on the horse’s stall and will receive recognition on our website and newsletters. They will receive a plaque of appreciation with a framed photo of their horse and a Rosette Blue Ribbon.
Red Ribbon Horse Adoption: $500 / year
Red Ribbon Sponsors will receive a Rosette Red Ribbon and a large framed photo of their horses as well as recognition on our website and newsletters.
Yellow Ribbon Horse Adoption: $250 / year
Yellow Ribbon Sponsors will receive a Rosette Yellow Ribbon and a small framed photo of their horse as well as recognition on our website and newsletters.
Blue Ribbon Horse Adoption: $1000 / year

Terry Howe from the Suncoast Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America was presented with a Plaque of Appreciation for the club's Blue Ribbon Adoption of Cherokee. This club has been a long time supporter of SMART and has adopted a horse for over 6 years in a row! All of us at SMART, especially Cherokee, thank you SO much! Thanks, Terry, for coming out to see us during our Horse Show! |
The Y-Guides, Mantee county YMCA, Lakewood Ranch Branch were presented with a plaque of appreciaton for their Blue Ribbon Adoption of PJ. This is their second year to adopt "Mr. Peepers" as he is affectionately know (because of his beautiful blue eyes.) Thanks, Campers, for caring so much about our horses and our program. We all appreciate it!! |
